Query for FeatherWeight knowledgeable peoples ....
On GW there is a 222K FW. { http://www.shopgoodwill.com/auctions...-23048046.html }
My question is this: Why does it have what looks like two stitch length control levers? Our 221 and the others I've seen only have one lever. Just curious. Joe |
Is it because it's a 222 free arm. Sweet looking little machine.

The "extra" one drops the feed dogs.

yeah. What Cathy said. :thumbup:

Cool, we didn't know that.
Thanks Cathy :) |
wow. is the bid price of $776 at the moment justifiable ? just curious.

WOW. I just looked at this. it started out low (about $8)is up to almost $800 and still has 3+ days to go. I cannot believe the prices of these sewing machines. WHEWWW I sure am glad that I like the other 'cheaper' machines!

In the US, they go for that. ;) In Canada, I routinely see them for under $500. Mine was $300 and I know of 2 separate people who scored them for $150 and $100. There was also one in Kijiji a couple of months ago for under $100 - they didn't know what they had but even with a few problems that's a smokin' deal.

Tammi and Joe,
My son bought mine for me a couple of years ago for $50 at GoodWill Store. Of course, mine is only a 221! LOL! It is, however, in absolutely pristine condition! And, it's a white one! Jeantte P.S. Here I go again -- Just so none of you QB Members think bad of me, neither one of us was aware of the value of the FW 221 at the time my son bought it! Although, I am very much aware of its current value-- I use it, that's it's value! |
