Marfy from central Texas
Hi, y'all. I'm pretty much a newbie to quilting, having only made whole cloth (satin, baby) quilts before. I spent this past weekend at a quilters' retreat with my sister and her guild, and it was so much fun! I might be hooked... if I can get my sewing room organized. (Ha!) :D
Anyway, I purchased a Viking Rose 605 machine at a garage sale fifteen years ago. (Got a GREAT deal on it.) I have used it since for traditional sewing, but really know very little about it. Looking around the web for info, I came across your site, and voila, here I am! I'm looking forward to seeing what y'all are up to - I may not have much to contribute for awhile, but this seems like a great (active!) online community. |
