Almost
We are in Passau, Germany and were walking through town and there was a big sewing machine store. Lots of machines, a wall of fabrics and thread and notions galore. Closed today!! Insert sad face here. We are pulling out later so no opportunity to go back. That is a place I could have found a souvenir or three.

So sorry for your lost. :(
|
Oh no! That isn't fair!
|
So sad for you!

At least you didn't have the sticker shock when you see what fabric costs over there.
|
Oh No! A similar thing happened to me in Williams, AZ. I was walking to a quicky mart to purchase bottled water and passed a quilt shop that had closed 30 minutes earlier. The ladies were still in there but the door was locked. I wanted to say, but I'm from out of town!

Oh, that's really a disappointment! You're suitcases could have handled the souvenirs. We stopped at a RxR shop last week and were disappointed that it was closed. The owner was inside and opened for us! So sometimes that can happen. Happy trails and may any other quilt shops be open for you!! :)

Bummer! But at least you got to enjoy lovely Passau! Been there and it is great!
|
I'll be there next year! I never even thought of looking at quilting shops in Germany. I know we have England, Australia and French on here but dah?! I'll let you know what, if anything, you missed.
