Hunter's Star finished
1 Attachment(s)
I did a Hunter's Star throw for my niece as a wedding gift. I also did a wall hanging & a runner for practice on the blocks & quilting. I had stitched 1/4" inside the triangles & trapezoids & it looked good but after washing it seemed like the star had 'popped up". After thinking about it, I took it to a friend that does LAQ & this is what we came up with. Binding is on, just need to wash it, pack in a space bag & in my suitcase for my trip in 2 wks. :)

I love the Hunter's star block..... your's is lovely. I really like your contrast in color..... love Oranges!!
Years ago I wanted to make a Hunter's star because my DH is quite the hunter. But other things always seemed to get in the way. I still haven't made one. Maybe some day. |
I'm glad you did this. I've been stressing on how to quilt my black hunters star. Now I know. Yours is beautiful.
