Hi! From Tennessee, new quilter

Hey everyone. My name is Ciara & I am just starting out making quilts. I haven't actually made one yet I'm trying to get as many tips and learn as much as I can before I start so I can do a decent job. So if anyone has any tips or tricks, if you can help out with some of the terminology or anything at all please let me know! Thanks!

Ciara

Welcome from Ontario, Canada. A good place to start are the YouTube videos done by Jenny Doan for the Missouri Star Quilt co. Start with a pot holder or table runner.

Welcome Ciara, just jump right in! The hardest part for me about my first quilt was cutting the fabric. I was scared I would mess it up. But soon I acquired so much fabric that it wasn't a problem .
