Having researched longarm machines for the last year, and rented a longarm weekly since January 09, I recently purchased a new machine and I think it is fabulous! It is a Gammill Classic Plus on a 12' table. I'm very interested in hearing about all sorts of things including threads, machine issues, customer quilt problems, etc.

Welcome to the board from Southern California. I don't have a long arm, though it is "on the list" for someday.

Haven't felt the need for a long arm yet. Still enjoying hand quilting with folks at my churuch. But want to welcome you to the forum!

I have a Gammill Classic +. I got mine almost 2 years ago. You might want to join another site that I belong to also. MQResource.com. You will love it there. The girls are full of information and you can take online classes as well.
