The White company made steam cars ...
 

... as well as sewing machines.

We know, or I did anyway, that Singer made the Nordan Bomb sight and 1911a1 pistols for the military in WW II. And I'm sure they made other things too.

However I did not know that the White company also made steam powered cars in the early parts of 1900.

I found a couple videos about this on Jay Leno's Garage. Here's a couple links. In the first one Leno actually comments about the White company also making sewing machines.
