Hello, I'm new to this website as well as new to quilting. I think I'm in love...with both quilting and this website. What a wonderful source of information. I can't afford alot of books and magazines about quilting, but I can find a wealth of info right here.

Thanks,
Charlotte

I don't own ANY quilting books or magazines. I showed up here clueless and am now on my second lap quilt with a piano topper and a few potholders thrown in. The folks on here can teach you whatever you need to know. Among them they seem to have every quilting site on the web bookmarked and know just where to find what you need in an instant. It is soooo great!

Hello, and welcome from Missouri! Before you buy any book,s check out your local library. Sometimes I buy a book and then find out it isn't a good fit. When I can, I check out a book at the library and look it over, then if I still want to use it, I buy it!
