Help with FMQ
1 Attachment(s)
I am fairly new to quilting, about 2 years. I read this site almost everyday and learn so much. I have never posted but need help so I thought I would give it a try. I can do meandering, feathers, sitd. I made this and am not sure how to best quilt it. You are all so talented so any suggestions of anything not too difficult would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for any help. I'm thinking something fairly simple as pattern in busy. Picture came out sideways. Don't know how to fix. ;)

Gosh, I am no help sorry, but had to comment on your beautiful quilt!!! Love the flowers!!! Hope someone can help you..
Pretty top! I agree with keeping the quilting simple. Great fabrics!
Have you thought of crosshatching??? I would test numerous colors to see what will look good against the bright colored flowers.
I would think a simple meander to just blend in and not to take away from those beautiful flowers!
Your quilt is proof that spring is coming!!! I would SITD all the black borders, then just do a meander in the floral squares and panel.
I'm not much help but if it were mine in each section I would do diagonal lines in different directions. I'm a simple gal.
I think I'd be tempted to outline the flowers in the central section with something very simple in the black strips. Then outline the flowers that are single flowers in a square around the outside and do feathers or cross hatching in the outer rectangles. Just my take. It's a gorgeous quilt and almost any quilting will work on it.

That is gorgeous!
