getting to be a pro at PP
1 Attachment(s)
So I've done four different types of PP blocks and just finished the "hardest" of my selections ... I have to say, I'm thinking I'm getting the hang of this! This is just a practice block to ensure I actually understand and can do it, before I do the "real thing" and not waste fabric LOL (I've learned that recently!)

Pretty block!

Bright and pretty and I agree, PP is so much fun!! I often "convert" patterns to PP because its more accurate for me. Do you use Freezer paper and fold & sew to avoid ripping off the paper later? You can use your templates many times over that way

Very Mardi Gras, love that block!
|
Thanks, no - I don't use freezer paper ... I have an african grey parrot ... part of our bonding is when I tear off the paper and she gets to attack it! Loads of fun for both of us!
I can make tons of copies at work LOL |
nicely done

Lovely block.

Your paper piecing block is very pretty. I love all those pretty colors. You did a great job.

If that is a practice piece instead of being part of your project, I would make it into a pillow cover. I love all the colours! You are becoming an expert! Great job.
