My very first machine back in 1971 was an Alden's machine I doubt I still have the book tho the machine is buried in my storage room in the basement.

Alden's would be a badged Japanese machine. It could be a clone or a zz machine.

I thought I had done a picture but I guess it did not work. I will try again on this response. I don't even know how to turn it on. When I plug it in, it just starts running and I cannot figure out how to stop it. I am going to try to do the handle release wheel on the side the next time I attempt to figure it out.

See attached pic. Hope it comes through and not too big. Thanks so much for looking at it at least.

Unplug your motor and plug it back in to the other plug hole. The motor will run like crazy if it is in the light plug hole.
Neat dash board machine. We have some threads about the Japanese machines. I'm on my iPad so hard to do links. Try searching up at the upper right for Japanese zig zag machines. It will be a thread I started a couple years ago. There should be a generic manual somewhere in there. There should be a ton of photos, too.

Thanks SO much. I am off to look for the link now.
