Crown of Thorns Quilt
10 Attachment(s)
This is my Crown of Thorns quilt I just made. I pieced and long armed it. I was going to do simple E2E free motion flower. While it was laying on my table, I thought I would try out my new fine line blue pen. Before I knew it, I had drawn on several blocks. I kept thinking about Judi Madsen and her book "Wide Open Spaces" and here is my chance - I have wide open spaces!! Each negative space block was done in a different design. IT is about 65" x 90". I used Quilters Dream Wool Batting. The quilt is an Apricot and cream color... ( It looks pink in the photos) . It took me about 40 hours to Long Arm it. I used my Jamie Wallen Straight rulers and the boomerang rulers. I used Glide thread on top and So Fine in the bobbin.
Thanks for looking. I do not know which one I like best, the quilt or the quilting. It is really a beautiful quilt. I like the colors you used too. Congratulations!
