Mamaw's Thimble in Knoxville is closing
 

Mamaw's Thimble in Knoxville, TN is Closing. Her fabric is 40% off and she will close on April 28.
We are very sad to see her go out of business she has taught many a new quilter.

So sad. Losing too many quilt shops.

I am saddened to hear this. I get to Knoxville about once a year and Mamaw's is on my list of things to do. She had such a great selection of reproduction fabric. Loved the "bored room" too for the "ceo" (carry everything out) guys. Unfortunately, I will be there the first week of May this year. Too late for the sale but at least this post saved me a trip to the shop which was a bit out of the way. Still makes me sad to think about it though.
