Check hours used on Bernina

Does anyone know how to check the number of hours used on the Bernina Activa 230? I know youtube has several machines on it but I have not found the 230.

I looked thru the PDF file and didn't find any information. Do you have a manual? If not, here is one:

I do have a manual but can't find anywhere where it tells you how you can check hours used. Thank you for your reply.

I also am a BERNINA owner. I do not have the model you are asking information for. I have an 1130 and B530. Both of these machines record the number of stitches taken-not the hours of use. If you talk about hours of use you have a very subjective idea. Does that mean the number of hours the machine is on or the actual stitching time and/or how fast. By counting stitches you know how much the mechanism has been used. My older machine just counts stitches and I have it serviced annually. This information is helpful to the tech. My newer machine, the B530 records 360,000 stitches and turns on a warning on the computer readout to remind me to oil in in places that are prescribed. I do that and the counter is reset. I do take this machine for service annually. I hope this bit of information is helpful.

There isn't a way to check on the Bernina 230. That function isn't available until you get into the larger machines.

I have a Bernina Artista 180 and I have no idea about how many hours or how many stitches. Why do you need that information?

I have several Bernina's and am just wanting to compare how much I have used each one of them.

Thank you for the info you posted. It does make more sense to be concerned with stitches taken and not amount of hours the machine was on.

On the Bernina 180 you can check the stitches on the machine...just can't remember how to do it to bring it up on the screen! When I find that info, I'll pm you.
