Can any one name this pattern?

I found this pattern at a quilt store, I liked it so much I took a picture but forgot to write down the name of it.

Thanks in advance!

Crazy four patch with sashing.

Appears to be made from Layer Cake squares.

That is very pretty. Can you get back to the store or call them and ask the name of the pattern?

I like the blocks a lot. I wonder why a border was added, it doesn't do much for the blocks.

It is very easy to replicate. You just take a stack of any same sized blocks and then make two cuts with your rotary cutter to create the four shapes. They then added the sashing and sewed back together in the opposite order of your cuts. (or you can make the first cut, add the sashing and then sew those back together randomly and then cut again, add sashing and then sew again) I made one that was a crazy 9 patch years ago and it was very easy.

And here is one pin that shows how to mix the shapes to get the scrappiness (although for a different type of quilt) : https://www.pinterest.com/pin/AY1lHW...oV-ojKQSpSNJw/

Sorry, can't help you with the name of the pattern---but if you ever find out the name, I would love to order the pattern. I love that style of pattern. What quilt shop was it displayed? If I were you, I would call the quilt store and ask for the name of the pattern. I am sure they would be happy to help you. Good luck on your search.

To sell fabric of course. I agree that border choice does not fit those blocks. I do like this pattern. It would look great with scraps.

I think so also they just stack them, slice them and mix and match the parts with sashing, should be easy to do without a pattern. I think this was on an episode of Fons and porter.

very easy to replicate. maybe they put that border on because that fabric wasn't selling and they wanted to get rid of it.
