Need help with Owl Rag quilt simplicity 2935

Hello,
I can't seem to figure out how to attach 12c 13c 14c to the body. It would be between the body and the wings. Any help to figure out how I attach it would be great. The shapes are odd....Thank you!

I haven't a clue. I just looked up the pattern! Very, very cute. Make sure to post a photo once you finish it.

I don't know why tissue pattern directions are so vague. They all are. I haven't made the owl but have made the Teddy Bear. I gave up on the pattern and sewed it together the way I wanted to.

I am also working on this quilt. How did you attach the head part to the face? It keeps bunching especially between the eyes

Im not really sure. I just keep straighting as much as could when i was sewing. I do have a few puckers but they will hide nicely when i do the fraying. But yeah im still trying to attach the inner part by the wings...ugh...frustration...Post when you finish and I ll do the same.

I remember having lots of issues when I made the teddy bear quilt years ago. It just about drove me nuts and I remember sewing it the only way I could, which was NOT what the instructions said to do. LOL!!

I would hand stitch to secure at a couple of places along where you would stitch with machine, and leave 1/4" open at the points - like Y seams, that night help with the bunching
