Greetings from Maryland's Eastern Shore!
 

I'm glad to find this platform for quilting (Ravelry is great for my knitting/crocheting/spinning/weaving interests - but not so much for quilting). I used to sew a lot (many moons ago...) for myself and my 3 girls, but never really had time to get into quilting. Now that I'm newly retired, I wanted to start quilting, and I'm discovering all the new products on the market that weren't around back when I was sewing: rotary cutters, basting glue, walking feet etc. So I'm having a wonderful time catching up on the latest gadgets and teaching myself how to quilt (I definitely want to try hand quilting as well). I'm sure I will be benefiting from all the info in these threads!
