Celestial wall hangings made from Laurel Burch fabric

It's been a busy summer, but I finally got a few days to return to my quilting. I started these wall hangings about a year ago, but kept passing them by due to deadlines on other things. There are 9 of them. Each is approx. 12" x 12", and embellished with lots of Superior Threads holographic thread. They were so much fun to make!

Hope you all are having a great summer!

those are great! I really love the free form borders and have to ask--what is Superior holographic thread? One i've not heard about.

Those are just wonderful! Your quilting is really stunning! I would never have thought to use the thread that way, but it works so well! Thank you for sharing!

Here's a link to Superior Threads...it's called glitter thread. Unlike regular threads that are round, this is a super thin, flat thread. It takes some practice to sew with it, but I love bling, so it's worth it!
