25-patch, 2.5" squares
 

I started cutting 2-1/2" squares when I didn't have a big enough piece for 3-1/2 or 4-1/2, and decided to use some of them. I love a 25-patch made with little squares.

Very pretty! I am currently making a series of 25-patch blocks with 1.5" squares.

Great job! Wish we lived closer... you could cut at least a million squares in my little room!

I didn't know what a 25 patch was until I got to counting the patches to figure out the pattern. You are doing a great job. I have been cutting scraps down to squares and strips. I start with 4 1/2 inch blocks and work my way down to 2 inch blocks. Nothing smaller for me. Thanks for sharing. It gives me inspiration what to do with the blocks I am cutting.
