I would like to have a 2nd embroidery machine to take to classes.
Unfortunately, I think they are asking too much for this machine,
but I will keep my eye on it & I can give them an offer.
They were asking $500.
None of the daughters sew & said they came up with their values based on an eBay search.

This was @ the estate sale also.
She had a Brother embroidery machine, too.

I wanted her to plug it in so that I could see how many stitches had been used but when she gathered everything together, the cord & foot pedal was missing .... & we couldn't find the computer disc either (whatever that thing is called). I told her that brought the value of the machine wayyyyy down. They're wondering if somebody didn't walk off with those things. For their sake, I hope not.

I'd like to know more ... if you can offer any info.

I think it only has a 4x4 field so yes, that is way too much for it even if all the parts were present.

Very old technology, they want way too much. You can buy a brand new Brother with a 4x4 hoop for less. The only similar machine from this era that's worth close to that is the Snoopy machine and I've even seen that one sell for less. They'll be lucky to get $150-$200 for it depending on what comes with it.

It was a great machine in its day and is a true work horse however, it is old technology that uses the Ped basic card and reader box to get designs to the machine . Even with all its parts it is only worth 100 to 150.00 tops.

Mitch's mom is correct. Abt 4/5 yrs ago I pd $100 for a Bernette Deco 650- maybe slight upgrade of the Espree. It came with several design cards, thread, magic box card, etc. I added the PED Basic card writer software and sold for $300. You will need some sort of method to get designs from computer to machine. It has 4x4 hoop, tho you can get re-positional 5x7 hoop, but it requires split designs. That price is much too high, IMHO.
BTW, I have a Snoopy PE 200 machine that looks like this picture. The original price pd was $1300 in Calif...when it was brand new...I'd like to get my purchase price back,too! You cannot view the stitch count on these machines.
Oh, and it does not use a foot pedal...you just push the button to start or stop.

You should go to Walmart, buy a Brother with 4x4 hoop that connects to computer or uses USB drive...for a lot less money, and start with new/ warranty.

I don't know anything about this machine but I have an Esante which is a newer sewing / embroidery machine. At current market rate, I can only get about $500 for mine, which I why I decided to keep it. I agree with others that you can buy a new Brother for less. Keep in mind that Babylock and Brother are made by the same company. Good Luck !!

$500....way too much.....get a new one...4 x 4 inch field are really low priced...if that is what you want.

Another thing to consider: if you want designs from the computer or from a CD, you'll need additional hardware for the conversion. That costs several hundred dollars.
