Handy tip....
Just used this & it's probably been shared before but....
Use the "roll of sticky sheets" to pick out stitches when having used the handy-dandy seam ripper! It does the trick, also anything else on finished block.... |
What is a "roll of sticky sheets"?
Are you talking about a lint roller? |
thanks for the tip
She might mean the rollers with the handles and sticky tape on them. Used for picking up lent off clothing and things.
the rollers with the handles and sticky tape on them = lint roller. :)
I use lint rollers on flannel covered design walls and on my clothes. I seem to always have pieces of threads stuck to my shirts. Can't take me anywhere without finding a thread somewhere on me!
I have used them for a long time. They are also good to roll over my quilts after washed and dried. Any threads I have missed cutting off get stuck and then I cut them.
For me a pencil eraser is smaller, close to hand, and works well, too.
You know what else works well? An emery board. :) One of those popsicle-stick shaped things covered with a sandy substance that you can file your nails down with.
Ok now I'm laughing at myself because I'm such a dork. :D |
Maybe she is talking about those sheets from paper card making?
