Two-Tone Basket
2 Attachment(s)
I've shown one of these before, but it's been a while, so I thought I'd show the latest one. I made this in the colors of East Carolina University, where the recipient went to school. You'll notice that there isn't a line where the color changes from one to the other. That's because the basket begins with two ropes, each rope wrapped in a different color. The photo of the inside of the basket shows how it starts out.

I've made several rope bowls but never a two color one. That's a great tip for making the 2 colors by using 2 ropes. I don't think I would have ever thought of that. I like the handles on your.

I love these! I have only made one, and bought a bunch more of the clothesline to make more, but that hasn't happened. I did take a fun class and maybe I will make some more. I do like the two color one that a you made.

I love the way you did your two color basket! I hope you don't mind me copying/ using your technique. I've been wrapping cord for quite awhile- about ready to start stitching. :)

I've made bowls & hot pads out of the rope. Really like the way you done the two color bowl. Will have to try the two color ones.
