What task can you put off again and again ?

Photo albums are still stored away in cardboard boxes since our move 4 years ago. I wish I could get myself up to the project but I dread it and every time I push myself that way, I'll find something else to do.

have you thought of scrap booking? It's a lot of fun, and it's a cross over craft. A lot of quilting things i've used in my scrap booking. People hate when you take out your pictures as much as you do. BUT..If you scrap book them, they are interested in seeing how you creatively did the layout. People hate it when you name everyone in the picture. but if you scrapbook it, you can just journal it, and they can skip over it if they wish.

What i keep on putting off is cleaning. I now have a cleaning lady due to severe back problems. I love my husband!

We are great at putting things off here, so I can understand. But 4 years isn't much when it comes to unpacking. My family moved from KS to WA in 1962. My parents stored some boxes at my great-grandmother's house so nothing would happen to them. And when we first moved we rented a house for 3 years while my parents decided if we were going to stay in WA or return, so not everything was unpacked. Then they bought a house in 1965, we moved everything into the new house (except what was left in KS) and quite a few boxes that weren't unpacked in the rental were put in the basement, in a corner and remained packed until my dad retired in 1989. That same year I went back to KS to visit my grandmother, who lived in the house my great-grandmother lived, I went up to the attic and there were the boxes my parents had left behind in 1962. And ya know what, nothing had happened to those boxes.

I do those kind of projects on a rainy weekend or winter evenings in front of the tv.

I don't like housework and will put off doing it. If we have company expected, DH and I work together to get things presentable. I dust when I can write in the dust. I loathe vacuuming...that's DH's job...he does it once a week.
The only thing I do on a regular basis is the bathroom. I keep it presentable by doing a little each day and a major cleanup on Saturday. I also like to do dishes. I vetoed getting a dishwasher because I find washing/drying dishes very relaxing....go figure!
DH hates anything to do with finances or using a phone. That's my area although I seldom use phones...I e-mail write letters or visit. We had our landline disconnected and use cell phone..the old flip type....for emergencies.

I dislike cleaning out cupboards or drawers.

I dislike cleaning. I dust when I must, sweep when I have to, and vacuum every once in a while. But my bed is always made, the bathroom are always clean, and the dishes are done most of the time. I keep the bathroom sink clean by wiping it out each time I wipe my hands. After I have washed, I rinse all around with a splash of clean water, then wipe it dry with the towel. The towel goes in the wash each day. The sink always sparkles, with no white water spots on the fixtures from our hard water.

I don't do housekeeping, I do house-cleaning. A couple times a year I tackle all the shelves, walls, windows and such and go under everything that moves.

I love a clean house. I like getting up and do housework but I hate dusting. When my daughter lived at home she hated doing dishes so we had a great deal going. Now she is gone and this house is in need of a good dusting.

I too detest dusting--my daughters always did such a good job--they spoiled me--they are now in their own homes and not interested in doing my dusting--lol !
