Don't know what I have

I was given this "cute table", that was used as decoration and no longer wanted. When I went to load it in my car, the top folds out and there is a sewing machine inside. What do I have? I'll be researching.

Yup. You have a winner. Did you get any cams?

Just for curiosity does it have JC or JA number cast in the base? Maybe a JC-23?? If you haven't already found it, looks like this would be a manual for your machine HERE <- hot link.

If you should happen across some cams that fit, maybe you could post them in "The Cam Thread" - link to last page.

I forgot to mention that I googled "domestic sewing machine 464". Here's also a link to the company http://ismacs.net/domestic/home.html
Have fun getting to know your machine.

amazing. remember to swing the front wooden "flap" open to support the fold out lid to the table.

My first sewing machine in 1967 was inside a cabinet like that. In those days those machines were really heavy.

Thank you all. I learned a few things. My house is crazy full of family for the holidays. I hope next week to explore the machine. And give it a good cleaning.
