What are your favorite table runner patterns

I am pondering a pattern for a table runner (actually it will top DH's dresser) and was wanting to do a pattern that I haven't done before. What patterns do you like for your table runners? Thanks.

I love the look of the triangle frenzy. my galfriend makes a lot of these and there's not an ugly one among them

If you are looking for quick and easy, I like the French Braid and I do it QAYG style from a center square set on point.

My favorite is the 'Accent Your Focus' pattern. I've made a bunch of them. I especially like how it highlights the focus fabric and the distinctive shape.

I don't have a favotire but am thinking of making a table runner too. Look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Hi

I just finished the top of one table runner and am quite pleased about how it turned out. It is a bargello pattern and was really easy to sew together (once I had figured out in which direction to iron the seam allowances...) You can easily make it longer by adding further scallopes.

I like the idea of this, can self bind and save another step, but as I do it in my mind, I'm a bit stymied about the other half, after you go from center out on one side to end, then back to center for the other side...do you trim those first braids from first side to be even with center square to get started with second side...is there a tute...I'm confusing myself and everyone else here, I'm afraid. I should just go the sewing cave and try a sample....

I always think that the pattern depends on how long and wide you want the runner to be. Once this has been established then picking the pattern becomes easy.

Good luck and show us what you decide on.
