Singer 9W Treadle Sewing machine

I was recently given a Singer treadle sewing machine. After quite a bit of research I found that it is a Singer 9w from 1905-1910 when singer bought out Wheeler & Wilson. It needs some work and I can do the restoration but I am at a loss as to where to find parts.

Can anyone point me to where I mite find needles, bobbins, the bobbin plate, general repair parts for it, as well as further information about the 9w model?

Thank you

If I were into treadles, I would go to treadleon.net and victoriansweatshop.com. Both have many users who are into treadle machines. They know where to get stuff.

just for a visual history. My W&WD9, predecessor to yours, is pic #12 on my profile album. Pretty sure the bobbin is the same for your Singer was the featherweight.

may I suggest Ebay or Helen Howes http://www.helenhowes-sewingmachines.co.uk/

She even has a special section for the WW9 here

If you can post a couple of photos we can do a better job of helping you to figure out what you need and where to get it.
