Clam Shell Log Cabin top finished

5 Attachment(s)
Here is the next finished top made from my scraps. There are a few innocuous mis placed pieces and that is okay with me.

I included some close ups to show off all the different fabrics from civil war repro, feed sack, thirties and modern.

Awesome scrappy. Did you use the creative grids curved log cabin ruler ? If not, what width strips did you use?
The assortment of fabrics adds so much to the overall look and invites you in for a closer look. Love it.

I just used an over size cut method and trimmed each log as I went. Finished logs are both 1" and .5". I had so much fun picking through all my scraps. I still have a lot of quilts to go before I use them all.
