Need help with finding a pattern
2 Attachment(s)
I have these sports themed fabrics that someone wants made into a twin size quilt for a young man. I'm to use all of them except the one with baseballs on a lavender background. The baseball themed panel will be cut and the largest square with the glove and ball in it will be the center of the quilt. I have a navy blue with small stars on it to use as a constant throughout the quilt but I have no idea what pattern might work with all of these fabrics that look a bit like Jacob's coat. Help! What pattern would you use?

Check on equilter.com, they have tons of free patterns and many use panels.
I would use the panel and navy stars on one side and use the brighter colors on the back, so you will have a double sided quilt and the colors won't clash. |
You could do an attic windows with some of them (especially the panels)
or you could do shadow boxes Good luck! |
Looks like an I Spy quilt. How about the Octagonal version or even the version with squares. I'd look on Pinterest for I Spy quilts.

Equilter.com has some really neat free patterns that use cut up panels. You could alternate the blocks cut from the panel and solid sqaures of the other fabric, using coordinated fabric for sashing.
This is one I recently used, I really liked how the sashing alternated around the focus blocks. http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c3...psd8cc0rld.jpg http://www.equilter.com/pattern/501/april-in-paris |
