Singer 15-91 parts

I just got my new to me Singer 15-91 yesterday. I'm really excited and can't wait to get started giving her a full service before I sew on her. I've been putting together a shopping list of supplies I'll need, i.e. new wires, motor brushes, an led light (she's in 2017 now:)) spool pin, and such. She already runs fine, but the wires are dodgy with electrical tape wrapped around them. I figured since I'll be giving her new wires, I'll give her a full service and some extras too.

I went on sewclassicLLC.com and some stuff and parts I want seem to be out of stock. They been out of stock for a while now. Does anyone have another suggestion on where to buy parts? Thank you all in advance!

I go on ebay when I can't find parts, but Sew Classic, Helen Howes in the UK, and the Featherweight shop are the first ones I go to. There is a lady on facebook too, but I can't remember her name at the moment (It will come tom me, but maybe others do before me).

You might try Cindy Peters at [email protected]. She's in Minnesota, I think. Email her with what you need.

You can get new wires at home depot. It's just 16/2 gauge wire. If your bakelite plugs are still good, regular wire should work. Of course HD does not have spool pins. Sew Classic has most stuff you need as well.

ps: let me know how it goes. I have a 15-91 that needs rewiring, too
