table runner
Had enough squares left from the double wedding quilt to make table topper any suggestions which batting would work best

I like Hobbs 80/20 for table runners--not too lofty to use on the table and it quilts nicely. I don't plan on my table runners being heat resistant, so don't need Insulbrite.

I also use regular 80/20 batt.

I absolutely love using Soft N' Bright (1/8") Polyester by The Warm Company. My table runners turn out beautifully, lying nice and flat!

I use Warm and Natural for everything, big or small. Never had a problem.

I usually use flannel as a wadding but that depends on whether it is going to be purely used as decoration. Should you wish to put hot dishes on it then I would suggest a thicker wadding like 100% cotton.

I use an insulated batting, then it's a hot pad on which to set hot dishes
