For those who mentioned the ease of quilting on a domestic machine - I made the quilt in 3 sections, QAYG, quilted each section separately; and I only used flannelette instead of cotton batting, so that made for a lighter quilt. Hand stitched the sections down on the back, just as we do for binding and it sat very neatly.
