A Quilt Show - Mine!!!
 

I live in an Independent/Assisted Living facility; thank goodness, I'm in the independent living section. The Activities Director has asked me to show my quilts. Quite an honor, considering my quilts are mostly throw size or wall hang hangings. Just ordinary, nothing spectacular. Have many UFOs which I will try to finish as many as I can by the show December 8th. In fact, I finished one today that I started at least 12 years ago. It's my first and only landscape. Mountains look kinda like bumps. The show will be a blast.

So excited for you & your first show! That will be a fun time for everyone. It's always nice to have "stories" about the quilts when presenting...seems like the audience loves personal stories & comments. Maybe someone will take a video that you can share with us after the show. If not, pictures would be great so we can join in with your fun.

You will be surprised how your "ordinary" quilts seem extraordinary to others.

That's awesome and I'm sure it will be inspirational to all who get to see them!!! I think you should give us the 1st sneak peak when you get it set up!!!
