Finished my quilt
 

I made this for a friend who was a life long marine until a year and a half ago when she had multiple massive strokes and is now severely handicapped. I'm very excited to be sending it to her. The backing is so soft! I think she's really going to like it!

Oh my gosh - that's lovely! Your fabric choices are absolutely perfect - I would never have thought to put that floral border around the center blocks. I would have put straight colorful borders around it and mine would be just okay. With that floral border you've really raised it up. Thanks to you I'm going to make myself a note to start thinking more outside the box, because the combination is just stunning.
