Foundation Piecing by the row?
Anyone know suggestions for a quilt of foundation/paper piecing by the row? (Block is width of quilt)

what about a roll of newsprint? Maybe from either an office supply store or an art supply store. Or a business like U.S. Toy & Constructive Plaything which is in KC, MO and on-line and carries school supplies for teachers??

Does it have to be foundation/paper pieced? Is this an idea you have thought of, or did you see it somewhere? Just curious...I know Lori holt of bee in my bonnet has a few row patterns, but not paper pieced....

I would start on this link below, and using a roll of parchment, with strips cut to the length I want, design my own pattern using free patterns available around the internet, a and fine point sharpie.

If you go to the my sewing room channel, she uses the painters paper from the home improvement store. It comes in various widths. I tried it a few times and it works well. And it's pretty cheap.

When taking a course from Karen Buckley, she provided us with a roll of doctor's examining table paper. I also got a narrow roll of face table paper from my son, the chiropractor. It is strong, eraseable, easy to fold and transparent. It is so easy to use when you want to duplicate a motif. Both of these are fairly inexpensive. Check your local medical supplier.
