King Size Carpenters Quilt
How many yards of material do I need to make a king size carpenters star quilt? A friend of mine sent me patterns for 3 different size's but none are of a king. I'm going to be using 3 different colors. I'm new at this quilting business, still. I work many hours outside of the home so I don't have a lot of time to devote to quilting. My goal is to learn how to quilt and be confident doing it. Any help you could throw my way would be greatly appreciated. I think it's pretty obvious that I'm extremely new at quilting, irregardless of how many years I have been trying to learn lol.

It's funny you mentioned that particular site...I just downloaded that yesterday lol. You would think that typing in king size carpenter star quilt pattern would pop up countless hits, quite the contrary. Thank you for taking the time to help.
