I need help to identify this machine

I believe this is a singer 15-91 but I could be wrong. Its SN is AD 770905 and is a simanco 125255. The cables are in bad shape but could be replaced and I'm sure it needs a clean I doubt it's in it's original cabinet but I'll leave you up to judge. The pedal cord is destroyed so I need to replace it any tips? it's a part number 194588.

It lists as a 15 on ISMACS, and if it has the potted motor it's a 15-91, if it has belt driven motor it's not. You don't need a particular part number for replacing the wire, just buy a good quality two core electrical wire and use the original plugs. If you need to replace the tree pin plug too, of course you need to get the right one. There's very good info for rewiring models with the potted motor. For the cabinet and rest, I guess you have to post a picture, you will get lots of responses.

Welcome Feenix. I hope the moderator let you know why the other posts were deleted. I'm guessing that indeed the pictures needed to be resized. There are several posts on QB about how to post pictures. One can be found at #8 of https://www.quiltingboard.com/vintag...e-t229244.html

There were several varieties of class 15 machines made. A good source to use to Identify vintage Singer machines can be found at http://www.sandman-collectibles.com/...r-machines.htm

If, indeed, it is a 15-91 a couple of threads you may want to check out here on QB are https://www.quiltingboard.com/vintag...d-t291280.html a dhttps://www.quiltingboard.com/vintage-antique-machine-enthusiasts-f22/respond-if-you-have-singer-15-91-a-t274661.html There are a whole lot more about the 15-91

Mickey's link ("http://AD 770905") doesn't work, you might try http://vssmb.blogspot.com/2011/12/ho...rt-1-wire.html

Yes, what you have there is a 15-91. Great machine. It doesn't have a belt, it's a gear driven so the motor is actually built in, not a separate component.
Here is where you can get a new cord set, very inexpensive and she ships fast.

Oooh, lucky you. The machine and cabinet looks great. Be careful with the finish, no soda cans or hard metal. Any moisture will result in white spots. Sewing machine oil doesn't seem to affect it much. The cabinet looks like a rather expensive one, and well worth taking care of. I have the exact same pedal on my 201, and it works very well. Mine was already rewired when I got it.

The cord in the link that Cari posted can work but it is for a machine in a case. You would have to thread the foot cord between the machine bed and the black flapper. You would have to be careful not to pinch the cord every time you raise or lower the machine.

This cord is the correct replacement for the original part https://www.shop.sew-classic.com/Cor...rol-SCE510.htm . You thread the cord through a hole in the back right corner of the machine bed and wire it behind the three prong plug.
