I have tried google images and some other places to try to get these fabrics , do not know the brands. Help!! I am unable to find a site that allows me to try to match fabric.

What does it say on the selvage?
The red fabric looks like something from thimbleberries or a civil war print. Sorry that is all I can think of.
The second fabric looks like French General fabric from Moda...good luck.
I thought the red looked like it could be a Civil War reproduction, too.
Can you put in context the age of the fabrics?
The second one is French General and can be found on Hancock’s of Paducah website. It is made by Moda

Beat advice I can offer is to contact Fabric Depot in Portland OR that has a team of people who locate fabric for its customers. And send the pictures to them. They located fabric for me several times. Down side is you need to take five yards of the fabric they find. For me it worked out great. Good Luck.

Sometimes the fabric search page at fabshophop helps. Here's the link:
https://www.fabshophop.com/fabsearch.asp Here is another fabric finder site that I have never tried: http://info.fabrics.net/fabricfinder/ and https://www.onethimble.com.au/7-ways...doesnt-matter/ |
Thank you all for your response. It took me a few days to get back to my desktop to get back to y'all! I read quiltboard on my ipad and for the life of me I can't sign in on it. I can on laptop and desk! Crazy. So I did find the French General fabric and ordered some. The other I am sure it is a civil war fabric. I am going to keep looking and also see if I can find something that will "fill" in. This is what I get for changing my mind about what I am going to make after getting the fabric for another project.
