2018 Schuylkill County Firemans Convention Quilt
 

This year I've been asked to make a Commemorative quilt for raffle benefiting a local organization. The county Convention is in August .
There are 102 Fire Companies in my county !! Wow!! So I came up with a simple! design to Commemorate all of them. I used a partial pattern from Happy Stash Quilts as my center design. Each company is embroidered, then appliqued on a block. I really did think it was simple just a bunch of blocks!! Wow! Just a bunch od seams!! 22 seams across times a teeny tiny bit off! Not good, then to line these blocks up, down the rows..another hassle !
However, I accomplished this years donation! Pretty pleased.
