Did I show you the butterfly quilt?
 

I don’t have great pictures of this one but I think I forgot to show it off. It is the Tula Pink Butterfly Quilt. I did it in mostly blues & purples. A special gift for a special Aunt - my mom’s youngest sister- she’s only 11 months older than me so we’ve always been close-
i have one side of the binding to finish yet before I can send it to her- she hasn’t any idea. :D:D

What a beautiful quilt. I have admired that pattern, but I really don't like to make anything that large. I wish there was a wall hanging or lap size of it. I wonder if I could size it down. Are most of the blocks 6 inches?

I really like your quilt. There are so many points of beauty and interest. I know that your aunt will love it. I know what you mean about closeness to a parent's sibling who is near your age. I had an uncle six years older than me and he was like a brother.
