stabilizer for T shirt quilt

my neighbor has asked me to make a t shirt quilt for her husband. I have never made one, thus my question, since I have seen many t-shirt quilts on this forum . What is the best stabilizer to use? one that does not make the quilt too stiff?
thank you

Pellon 911ff is what I used. My long armer recommended it to me. It worked very well.

I have used Pellon 911ff just like gingerd .. that is the one that the teacher suggested when I first took a T-shirt quilt class and since then I have made about 6 other quilts with it. Just be sure to follow the direction on ironing it on.

Plus you can sometimes find it in 54" wide widths which is very handy

I use French Fuse, or another similar copycat tricot stabilizer. It's lightweight and still has some stretch to it (as it's a knit) but the stretch is very controlled.
