Pfaff 7570 foot pedal problems
 

Ive had reoccuring issues with this on my Work Horse of a machine! After replacing the pedal...taking it to the repair shop, my cousin, a mechanical engineer figured it out!!! There is a problem inside the machine where the prong from the foot pedal goes into a fitting on the inside of the machine. There appears to be a broken piece of plastic in there. When we get back from vacation will see about a part for it. It seems like the dealer would rather sell new than fix old... have a new machine but like to use this one for all the ugly heavier sewing. Hope this helps someone else out there.

Good to know. I have that machine and use it for all my piecing and regular sewing. I have two other great Babylock embroidery machines that I love but I keep going back to this one. Hope you find a part.

I also have the 7570 machine. It is truly a workhorse and I would not consider getting rid of mine. I have other, newer machines, but this one is what I use for heavier tasks. It always does the job when other machines will Not. I hope you get the problem solved!
