Hourglasses - 4 at a time.
Help, please. Cannot find the post (if it was on the QB) I have searched Tutorials but could not find it.
It was about making 4 hourglass blocks at one time and leaving no excess fabric. It was all about the way 2 squares were layered, sewn then cut! A really useful method! I have the picture, (don't know if I can show it here) but don't know which is the sew line and which is the cut! Hoping one of you can remember it! As usual, thanks sooo much! |
OK, so I tried sewing the pattern on paper and get just 2 full hourglasses. Nowhere did I find a method for 4. But the 2 are nice, easy and no waste!

Princess, you are promoted to Queen! That is the exact one! I was looking for Hourglass instead of Quarter square!
Thank you! |
Yay! You will be invited to my coronation.

The MSQ video sure looks easy. I have always be cautioned out the bias edges of Jenny's method. Has any one had problems with that? and if so, what was your solution.
Well, I just read on to the next post and Taa-Daa! There is the tutorial with the hourglass without the bias edges. Thanks all. |
Super easy!!!

I use Jenny's method and have never had a problem. I used to hate making hourglass blocks. Now they're easy and quick.
