Off to Ronny's in Alberta
2 Attachment(s)
I was given 9 sets of embroidered nursery blocks along with some fabric to finish them up. They weren't in my wheelhouse at all - and then when chatting with DD, she mentioned that she and friends had served breakfast at the local Ronald McD House and taken a tour. During the tour they were shown a closet full of stacks of homemade quilts to be given to the children who passed through the doors to keep - so they go through a lot of quilts. The ladies thought they'd like to help but they didn't sew. DD does and was going to pull together a top and then teach them to tied a quilt. So I took the blocks I'd been given, added fabrics from my stash.... And now there are 11 quilt tops off to be finished for this program.

The rainbow stripe is from the local Salvation Army store - also a long time ago. Bought quite a bit at $2/yard...

Last one... They are small size, mostly about 40 x 50ish. I hope someone likes them.

Very nice little quilts. Your heart is in the best place.

They are all wonderful and sure to be a comfort. Bless you...

Wow, that’s a way to be resourceful and generous with your time. Great little quilts... and for a good cause. When my first DGS was in the NICU for nine days, my son and DIL stayed at a Ronald McDonald house in Miami.
