Class 15 clone light component

I just bought a class 15 clone and I absolutely love it! I haven’t named her yet but she is a pretty color teal with very little rust. But the wiring is horrible. I took her apart and I’m waiting for parts.

my question is how do i get the light case off to check the inside wiring? Or is it possible...

The wiring to the light looks like it could use some attention. It looks like there is a bracket that is attached to the machine behind the round inspection plate. Without the machine in front of me, it is kind of hard to tell how to get the shade off the lamp socket, but if you unscrew the thumb screw on the round metal plate you will see another screw for the bracket to the lamp. That should give you a better view of the lamp workings. I'm thinking that where the wires go in there is a nut that will unscrew. I think I have a machine with that type of light. If you can't figure it out after you unscrew the above mentioned screws post another picture of the underside.

Almost, Janey. The light bracket is held in place with just the one same screw used for the inspection plate. Same as the Singer lights. Getting these type of lights apart is real pain though, and getting them back together is even worse. They occasionally come up on Ebay or Etsy but usually aren't cheap since there's no modern blue ones.

Edit again - Thinking about it, I don't know if the blue ones even come apart.
