Copper Chef cookware

I am absolutely hooked on these pans, they are remarkable. I ordered a different make on Groupon because they were inexpensive and there is no comparison. Stick with Copper Chef, the quality is great. If you haven't tried these pots and pans, you are really missing out. They have a black friday special right now where if you buy 5 items, the price is only $8 each. Fantastic deal. I am replacing all my old cookware with these, even my old cookie sheets. Anyone else loving these ?

I'd be interested in someone who has used this cookware for more than a year. My non-stick skillets usually last about a year before food starts sticking even though I use a low to medium heat. I keep hoping I'll find a brand that is indestructible. That's a good price for 5 items however the only one I need is the skillet. I look forward to hearing what others have experienced.

I've had mine for a bout 6 months. My small skillet that I use every day is starting to get some nicks and spots. But it is still functional. Before I had a very expensive stainless set. Harder than 0 y754d349 to clean. I gave it away.

I ordered a 10 pc. set on QVC about 6 months ago but have not opened the box yet. Have been saving it for our new-to-us home......we recently moved in. ;-)

I have used them every day for at least two years. Even our FCS agent bought a set to try and we use them frequently. I have one Gotham Steel skillet, but prefer the Copper Chef.

I bought the square fry pan. It works good as far as non stick but the center always humps up a tad and all the juices run to the sides and the centers burn on. Don’t like it except for maybe toasting sandwiches

I bought another brand of copper skillet just to try out and I was hooked on copper pans. It has held up very well too. My copper chef boiled egg maker though has not held up well. Seems the spot that has discolored is probably where the heating element is closest to the copper section. Still works fine but has that hot spot (blackened). My sister on the other hand bought an entire set of copper pots on sale last year by another maker and she loves her pans too. I also bought another brand electric skillet as with this brand you can take the skillet off the heating element and use it on the stove or oven. I don't think Copper Chef's electric skillet you can do that. Have been looking at their cookie sheets though as it seems they're the only ones offering them so far.

I live near the Chantal warehouse and pick up my pans at their warehouse sales. My first set lasted 25 years even though I had boiled them dry a couple times. Still worked fine so I'm sticking with them. I used the plain ones. I don't like pans with coatings on them.

I did have one copper pan that belonged to my husband when we got married in the 80's. It was a leftover from the last time copper was in style. It lasted a long time. I hope you enjoy your copper pans.

Marymo -- I have a friend who absolutely loves her copper chef so much that she got sets for each of her two (grown) boys after having hers for about a year. To be honest, she doesn't cook a lot so her year of use is maybe 3-4 months of what I would do so your mileage may vary.

I bought a set of stainless steel cookware (ALL CLAD). Very expensive but we got deals, coupons off, etc. After cooking LOTS for years with my non-stick cookware, I developed thyroid issues. I did some research and found that the non-stick cookware had strong connections with thyroid difficulties. Threw out the whole set!
Bought a set of the ALL CLAD for my single son also. Love it. It is not always so easy to clean but the health issues are worth it.
I am wondering what health issues are related to the copper pans???
