3 Attachment(s)
Wife and I have this habit of bringing old machines home from estate sales. Singer has a web site for serial numbers. Can anyone direct me to a good site to find out when this sold by Sears was made. It has the book and all the attachments. Says on the book it is a # 23 Serial Number is 61x3606 Any Help would be appreciated. Bill

Your Franklin was made by White and Katie Farmer ([email protected]) can tell the age and info you need on this machine.

Sold by Sears. Ditto on the White.

What a beauty!

The friction drive wheels on those motors tend to develop flat spots after being unused for decades. If your machine thumps and growls when you fire it up, check to see if that rubber is round.

That is a very nice machine! And like others have said, being a White, it's not so hard to get supplies for.

I have a Franklin with a shuttle bobbin & different decals. It fits in my Singer treadle that my 66 red eye fits into. I have about 25 machines I am trying to get rid of as I am getting ready to move into indep. living center in next 6 months. I have managed to sell a couple on fb marketplace so far. I need to list some more but having to take photos and post slows me down. I live in SW MO if anyone is interested PM me.
