7 Runners from 1 jelly roll
 

I had been wanting to make more Fall themed runners for myself for several years. I began by joining the 2 1/2" strips from a Maple Island jelly roll. With several 1/2 yard pieces of matching fabric, I ended up with 7 table runners. Not needing all 7, I decided to give 5 of them to the 5 relatives we exchange gifts with. Hope they do not mind getting gifts they won't use until late next year. I still have a Maple Island charm pack to make something different for myself. Love this collection. Any suggestions on how to do more than straight line and curved quilting would be appreciated. I have tried to do free motion quilting several times, but gave up due to frustration. Maybe after the holidays are over I can try again.
