Does anyone recognize this quilt pattern? I found this quilt top in a bag of scraps that I bought from a thrift store and I am looking for a tutorial to help me finish it. I really like the quilt top and fabric colors and want to finish what the original quilter started.

Also, if you have any ideas about how to finish the quilt top such as adding additional borders or sashing and quilt pattern suggestions would be awesome!

It's called the Lemoyne star...should be able to find it in whatever size that matches the ones already made.

What a pretty find! It looks like she was going to put the stars on both sides like the top. It doesn’t look like you have enough of the white though to finish? I might find a close match to one of the colours in the quilt for cornerstones on the corners and then put the star blocks on both sides to finish. If you bought enough of the cornerstone fabric to do another border and binding, it would tie it together.

The small center star and all the border stars are Lemoyne Stars. The large star is a feathered star, don't know specifically which one off the top of my head.

I think the pattern is Vintage Moments by Marsha McCloskey.

What a great find! I agree with Tartan in that it doesn't look like there is enough of the BG to finish making enough blocks to go all the way around. Another option might be to completely separate those side blocks and make two separate smaller quilts. Since there are 16 blocks already made, you could lay them out 4x4 and not even have to assemble any additional blocks.

Can’t wait to see how you finish this. It is so pretty.

I agree with Dunster. I have this pattern somewhere.... ;)

The center feathered star looks like a pattern called Vintage Moments by Marsha McCluskey. But the smaller stars are a Lemoyne star block. It is pretty, what ever the pattern is.
