My daughter told me I should get involved in an online community so she signed me up here being I am interested in quilting. I live in east tennessee and I am originally from Michigan. I have been lurking on here for a couple of weeks trying to get up the courage to post. It was my homework assignment from my daughter:)

Welcome Mik. There's always something going on here - chat, new pictures, plenty of ideas everywhere you look. East TN is beautiful - I used to go rafting on the Nanthahala. Lots of good fun there.

This is a nice friendly place to come to Mik, but I know from experience how nerve wracking it is to press that Submit button for the first time! lol!
