Aqua magic

What water soluble stabilizer is equivilant to Aqua magic? It is not always available. Thanks

Something like H20 Gone. I think that is what it's called. Never used Aqua Magic but have used the H20. It is almost like a material but will dissolve the instant water hits it.

I typically use Floriani’s Wet n Gone but have not used Aqua Magic so cannot compare the two products.

For WSS I normally buy it off the bolt at Joann's. I'm not into making sure everything is name brand. As long as it works, and I can afford it then I'm good. Use your 50% coupon and buy a bolt cheap, its normally 2.99 a yard.

Cari - thanks for the link. I've been looking for a place I could by stabilizer in larger rolls.

I'm doing mostly blocks I'll use in quilts, but I'm not doing any "quilting" on them in the hoop. I'm thinking a wash away stabilizer would work since they will be quilted and that will help to stabilze them after they are stitched. And I'm only doing this on quilting cotton too. Pretty simple applications.

I'm getting real tired of plucking the tear away stabilizer from the design. It can take over an hour per block to get that done. I've started watching movies in the evening instead of sewing. DH likes it, as I rarely did the before and he likes watching movies with me.

The stabilizer depends on how it is going to be used. For my FSL I use the Sulky Ultra thick and I buy it on Amazon. Most of the stabilizer I get on Amazon because we have Amazon Prime and thus have free shipping most of the time. If I am using it on towels I do like the heavier Sulky, because it doesn't tear apart like some of the other brands. I will have to check out the Allstitch. My quick look prices looked very good.
